It’s Spring!
Listen!
My Egyptian Ammonite teacher told me that at the moment of the Equinox (1:14A.M., March 20, 2012), the Earth exhales. What does this mean? Is it a metaphor or a description of a movement of energy? It just might be literal and physical. I read about the Chinese practice of digging very narrow holes into the earth. A feather is placed into a hole and at the Equinox moment, the feather flies up, jettisoned by an outtake of Earthly breath.
Wheew!
Listen.
Returning birds are singing merrily and brooks are doing more than merely babbling; they are expressing a complex orchestra of sound. Do you hear it?
How much do you hear? Have you sought council from a tree or stone and heard its unique voice? Moreover, have you received? Have you received: instruction, guidance, healing, insight, an exchange of love? Did you know that the frequency of love is the lingua franca of the natural world?
Try this: either gaze now at the paintings above, or go somewhere in nature. By intention, shift your consciousness from your brain to your heart. Breath in through the heart and out through the heart. Conjure feelings of love, perhaps recalling a time when you felt love strongly, and attune yourself now to that sensation. Expand on that feeling. It not only infuses your every cell, but overflows into a heart connection with the fiddlehead fern, symbol of burgeoning Life. You exchange love. What does Life have to convey to you in this moment?
With an open heart, ask and then still your mind. Remain open while an answer floats up to consciousness. Ask about the details, ask about your direction, ask for support in your healing. Then, listen, listen, listen…
beautiful…thank you
